Road Tollgate Route Time
Honam Expressway (north/southbound) Gwangju or East Gwangju Tollgate Pass East Gwangju Tollgate. Turn right toward Gwangsan Interchange (Hanam, Science Valley). Turn right toward Science Valley. Pass the underpass and go straight for 1 km. GIST is on the left. Approximately 10 minutes.

By express bus

Arrival After arrival Time
Bia Temporary Stop Taxi When boarding, ask the driver to stop at Bia Temporary Stop. Take a taxi after getting off the bus. Approximately 10 minutes.
Gwangju Bus Terminal Taxi After getting off, take a taxi in front of the bus terminal.
※ There is no short bus route, so it is recommended to use a taxi.		 Approximately 30 minutes.
City bus
  • Cheomdan 09 (express service) – Get off at Sangam Park.
  • Maewol 16 (arterial service) – Get off at GIST.
  • Cheomdan 30 (arterial service) – Get off at GIST.
 Approximately 60~90 minutes.

By train
