[Undergraduate] Guidance on Application for Thesis Research I and II / Primary Advisor and Co-Advisor

The primary advisor for the thesis can be a professor from GIST another school and department, but in this case, a co-advisor must be appointed, and he/she is a professor from the EECS or a joint appointment AI professor.

▶ Students should directly request both the primary thesis advisor and the co-advisor.

▶ If the primary thesis advisor is a full-time professor from EECS or a joint appointment AI professor, the above requirement does not apply.

▶ After completing the application for thesis research, the EECS office will match the primary advisor with the entered EECS/joint appointment AI faculty member as the academic advisor.

▶ To confirm, please ensure that you complete the thesis application form with your and your advisor's signatures (the EECS dean’s signature is excluded and will be processed by the EECS office) and submit it to the EECS office (Bldg. C2, #305, or via the designated email).

For any other inquiries, please contact: EECS Office, Kim Seul-hye (seulhyekim@gist.ac.kr)
