Introduction

  • The internet up to now has been defined as the Web2 internet, which is primarily focused on information sharing. Online, we communicated and exchanged information. Now, the Web3 era is emerging. With the development of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, people who don't know each other can now attribute value to the information they possess and trade directly without the need for intermediaries like banks or credit card companies. In other words, strangers can meet online, transfer the ownership of valuable digital goods or offer digital services, and receive payment in cryptocurrency. Our lab researches the essential technologies that enable this new internet environment. These areas include: The topics of interests include, but not limited to, the following:
  • - Blockchain, cryptocurrency, cryptography, and channel codes
  • - AI finance
  • - Artificial intelligence and AI agents
  • - Sensor intelligence technologies using machine learning
  • - Training and inference of transformers and large language models
  • - Multi agent cooperation system
