Introduction

  • Communication and Information Science Laboratory conducts theoretical researches on communication, signal processing, and deep learning techniques for 5G and 6G wireless systems. Our goal is to apply the theoretical knowledge to practical applications of wireless communications for connecting our society in a seamless way. Our research interest include grant-free access in massive machine-type communications (mMTC), channel estimation for mmWave multiuser MIMO systems, reconfigurable intelligent surfaced (RIS) aided multiuser communications, and deep learning for wireless communications, etc.

Research Field

  • • Multiple access technology for next-generation wireless communications
  • • Massive machine-type communications (mMTC) for 5G and 6G
  • • Reconfigurable intelligent surfaced (RIS) aided multiuser communications
  • • Semantic communications
  • • Federated and distributed learning for wireless communications
  • • Deep learning for wireless communications
